Morocco is a beautiful country and I still have quite a few photographs to share from my stay there. This is another grab shot while traveling in the hills toward the Atlas Mountains. Everywhere I pointed my camera was total photo satisfaction. This village was teeming with activity. If you look really close, you can see it.

With all this texture and tonal range, I couldn’t resist a trip to Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 for a little high key, monochrome version.

Nice work on these, Mark. I like the color version best. The color of the trails on the hillside seem to roll right into the buildings below. Pretty cool!
Thanks, Jimi. Appreciate your preference for the color. They both seem to have a different meaning for me. Color is obviously more realistic but the monochrome seems much more artsy.
Nicely captured Mark. I have never been to Morocco and it looks like a great place to photograph.
Thanks, Len. It is a nice place but some areas can be a little risky if you’re by yourself.
Interesting composition, Mark. Like Len I like the way the paths on the hillside draw the eye back to the village.
Thanks, Mark. This one is really busy so any notice of order is appreciated.
looks like a very interesting place to shoot Mark, well done!
Thanks, Jim. Yes it is a great place to visit. I’m glad I had the opportunity.
