This is The Dog with her Lady out for a nice stroll. It was another very bright day with deep shadows . . . perfect for High Dynamic Range(HDR) imaging. I’ve spotted this pair a few times while on my photo walks and decided to give them top billing today.
Processing: This shot was produced from nine exposures at .5 ev apart. After some initial blending with Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 to capture the motion of the stroll and a monochrome conversion with Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 to add a more grainy appearance, I decided to make it a warm, duotone in Adobe Photoshop. I also used Adaptive Wide Angle to line up the verticals and get a nice, vanishing point with the lines leading to the left side of the image.
Equipment used: Nikon D700 with 20-35mm f/3.5-4.5 lens, 35mm, f/16, ISO 400. Handheld.

Love the vintage effect to this scene Mark.
Thanks, Len. I like to use warm tones for that reason.
The toning to the B&W suits this image perfectly. I like the way you have created the vanishing point down the left hand side with the pavement giving your key subjects somewhere to be heading towards.
Thanks, Mark. Fixing the verticals in PS really made the difference.
Great processing in this fine image, Mark. It really has a nice vintage look.
Guess we old guys like the vintage look huh! Thanks.
Lovely tones and beautifully composed.
Thanks for the comment, Edith.
nice vintage feel, I like the B&W
Thanks, Mike.
