A short HDR post for today of Cape Hatteras Light House on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
I hope to get back when the sky is a bit more interesting. This was one of those rare days when there were no clouds to be seen. You just never know.

Nice light crossing the treetops. I like this composition as well.
I am have this location on my list of places for this year, hopefully get there in a month or so. Great place to be.
Thanks for the comment, Jimi. That would be a great time to be at the Outer Banks. . .hurricane season. You could get some fantastic severe weather shots as you’re planning your escape route.
We must have been on the same wavelength concerning lighthouses today Mark. Very nicely captured. i’ve never been there but hope to visit next year.
Thanks, Len. The outer banks has lots of light houses, nice small towns and miles of beach.
Great glow to the tops of the trees, Mark! I love the Outer Banks, especially Ocracoke where there is the ferry back to the mainland. It’s a really quaint little town.
Thanks, Mark. Appreciate your comment. Ocracoke is on our to do list.
