For some reason, I was drawn to this scene and visualized this HDR image before I shot the brackets. Sometimes I just sense an artistic nudge, at least for my tastes, to shoot something non-traditional. Like the top of a building with a cloud and some trees and branches. Oh well. That’s art!
This just happens to be the J.M. Mitchell & Co building in New Bern, North Carolina. I believe it’s part of the Kress Condominium Association along with the Kress Building next door.
Since this building was in total shade, I’ve given a slight artsy edge to the scene to bring out the details while still retaining a realistic appearance.

Beautiful done Mark. There’s something about red brick against a brilliant sky that i just love.
Thanks, Edith.
I can see why you were drawn to this. Nice scene with some attractive architecture and reflective windows. Building abstracts can be very attractive, at least for me.
Appreciate the comment, Jimi. Thanks.
