The area around Tryon Palace in New Bern, North Carolina is full of historic buildings and attractions that are perfect for HDR photography. I found this old weathered Blacksmith Shop on the “Palace” grounds with an assortment of pieces of stuff and tools hanging on the outside wall. And, to be totally honest, I don’t know what any of it is for. I just thought the placement made for a nice “lines and circles” study. :) I have a feeling that someone who reads this post can enlighten me.
Equipment used: Nikon D700 with 28-70mm f/2.8 lens set at 28mm, f/8, ISO 3200.

Great composition, details and textures Mark. Have a great weekend
Thanks, Len. Hope your weekend is good too!
Like you, Mark, I have no idea what any of these pieces of equipment are for. They make a nice subject matter, though, almost abstract in design.
Thanks, Mark. I’m still clueless!
a very nice scene for the processing.
Thanks for the visit, sherri.
