On my first trip to River Park North, I managed to capture quite a few HDR scenes like this one. Even though the weather has been dry there lately, this swampy area still manages to produce it’s share of mosquitoes. But I’m one of those lucky people who seem to repel them. They land but don’t bite for some reason. Weird!
Anyway, I found this scene while my wife and our dog were trying to avoid those nasty bugs. Even at mid day with the sun almost straight up, this area is beautiful with lush brown and green tones.
This photo was produced from nine images from -2 to +2 ev with .5 ev spacing using Nik HDR Efex Pro and Adobe Photoshop CS6. I used a Nikon D700 with 20-35mm f/3.5-4.5 lens.
