While stopped at a traffic light yesterday, I noticed this nice kinda geometric design and just had to pull out my phone for a “Wide Dynamic Range” image. I know, it’s not HDR but that little camera really did a good job at capturing the tonality of this scene. I removed some of the green tint caused by the car window.
This wide dynamic range setting on my Samsung phone is very similar to what my Nikon D700, using Active D-Lighting, can do with highlights and shadows to balance a scene. And it’s a pretty good method for getting realistic, pseudo high dynamic range images.

Pretty impressive for shooting through a car window. Have a great weekend Mark
Thanks, Len. Same to you!
