Great Smoky Mountains

It seems that the Smoky Mountains in eastern Tennessee never disappoint.  Just point your camera in any direction and beautiful panoramics or intimate forest settings are ready to be photographed.

This is a single shot pseudo-HDR image.  Sometimes the subject matter is enough to encourage an almost real High Dynamic Range image. Using Adobe Photoshop, I applied a gaussian blur filter with a 3 pixel radius to the clouds for a slight softening effect.
